All the best innovations come out of the process.
McDonald’s didn’t come up with cheeseburgers and fries. They came up with the fastest way to enjoy one.
Google didn’t come up with browsing for information. They came up with the easiest way to find it.
Spotify didn’t come up with downloadable music. They came up with the fastest way to listen to it.
The best ideas don’t just happen once. They come out of the process and evolve out of the work itself. Don’t sit around waiting to brainstorm a great idea or solutions. Get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction.
Research everything you can, get to know the challenges intimately, become the smartest person in the world about the way it works. Break it, improve it. Repeat it.
You don’t need a great idea to start working.
Immerse yourself in the process.
